Conference 5th International Congress on Ambiances
International Congress on Architectural and Urban Environments to be held in October 2024 at ULusófona
The 5th International Congress on Environments, organised by Ambiances - International Network, will take place in October 2024 in Lisbon, at the Lusófona University, at the same time as the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. This event aims to boost research in the areas of Architectural and Urban Environments, with a particular focus on integrating the sensitive dimension into the process of conception and design of the spaces we inhabit. The congress will promote an interdisciplinary dialogue between lived space and the fields of architecture, landscape and urbanism, reflecting on urban environments and citizens' interaction with these spaces.
In addition to the conferences, free workshops will be offered, designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge and interact with professionals and researchers in the field. These workshops are short in duration and have been planned so as not to interfere with classes, acting as enriching practical sessions. Students who take part in the workshops will also have privileged and free access to various sessions of the congress, including the presentation of the results of the workshops on the last day of the event, 11 October.
