Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
Classes will alternate between seminar modules and the screening of film excerpts related to the topic, as well as student presentations, both followed by a discussion moderated by the teacher. Each student will research and present their findings to the class through two assignments: a first one proposed by the instructor in the form of a riddle to be investigated, and a second one of the student’s own proposal, ideally connected to their project and personal interest within the field and approved by the teacher. The presentations will inevitably engage with the course syllabus and with the history of animation, from its earliest beginnings to the present day.
