The Journalistic Practice subject aims to provide knowledge of the frameworks of the journalism profession and the practice of this professional activity. Journalism has been subject to great changes over time. With the development of the Internet, newsrooms and professionals had to learn and adapt to the new potentialities of this space. At a time when journalism is constantly changing, it is important to know the challenges that the media face in the exercise of journalistic activity and the way they condition and hinder the profession.

Objectives
By the end of the semester, students:
- Develop skills in critically analyzing journalism and identifying best journalistic practices;
- Master the functions and constraints of the journalism profession;
- Know the structure of the news, knowing how to contextualize the emergence and limits of this structure;
- Recognize the reportage as an essential work of journalistic practice;
- Know how to identify different types of journalistic narratives;
- Distinguish the basic language of journalism according to the media;
- Recognize the specificities of specialized journalism.
