Inês Lourenço da Silva Delgado completed the PhD in Veterinary Sciences in 2022 by Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade de Lisboa and MSc in Veterinary Medicine in 2011 by Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar da Universidade do Porto. Is Assistant Professor in Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário de Lisboa since 2019, teaching courses on Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases. Works in the area(s) of Veterinary and Biological Sciences, at the interface of cellular and molecular biology and parasitology, with a main focus on tissue cyst forming apicomplexans. Published 11 peer-reviewed articles in journals. Has received 1 award in scientific photography and 1 award for best poster in a national conference.
