    The Curricular Unit presents an overview of the international business environment, as well as the main actors and international institutions. Throughout the semester, a critical analysis of the technological and innovation ecosystem is carried out, including the approach to the digital and ecological transition, as well as the understanding of its implications in the aeronautics sector, in order to:

    Develop critical thinking and reflection, to understand the international market, its determinants and dynamics, highlighting the aeronautics sector;
    Obtain useful and strategic information to analyze and understand the main complexities in carrying out international business;
    Evaluate the multiple factors of the external and internal environment that condition access to international markets, namely organizations in the aeronautics sector;
    Analyze the foreign market and identify business opportunities;
    Develop an internationalization plan.

    CP1: The new technological and innovation ecosystem: Industry 4.0 in aeronautics, digital, ecological and energy transitions;
    CP2: The International Business Environment: determinants, trends and current dynamics with impact on aeronautics
    CP3: Main international organizations, international associations and other stakeholders of the aeronautical sector;
    CP4: International monetary and financial markets and systems
    CP5: Countries and emerging markets in the aeronautics sector;
    CP6: Multiculturalism, ethics, sustainability and social responsibility in international business;
    CP7: Strategy and internationalization plan.

    LO1: Understand the trends and dynamics of the international market, given changes in the technological and innovation ecosystem;
    LO2: Understand the main determinants and complexities in doing business in international markets;
    LO3: Analyze the business environment of a foreign market and identify business opportunities;
    LO4: Create action plans aimed at maximizing opportunities and achieving business objectives.

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    The UC uses active student-centered teaching-learning methods, through a balanced combination of exposing the syllabus with the discussion of relevant topics and cases, encouraging critical reflection and promoting group dynamics, as well as self-learning through consultation from sources and websites, under the guidance of the teacher.
