The main objective of the Transition to Working Life Project (PTVA) is to provide students with a comprehensive insight into professional practice in a real-world workplace. The PTVA comprises a total of 450 contact hours, which will take place in accordance with the timetable to be set by each external institution. External institutions are selected annually by the Course Management, based on objective criteria that ensure the capacity to carry out the activities required by the PTVA; taking into account the availability of human resources, management and operational staff, and technical and financial resources, in order to ensure the activities and skills defined above.

Syllabus
The CU of project and introduction to professional life will be compulsorily developed in Institutions and companies of the Welfare and Health care sector with the appropriate valences to the cycle of studies, in which the student will apply and develop, in a supervised work environment, the learning contents taught throughout the course.

Objectives
Objectives
To enable trainees to apply the theoretical and scientific knowledge they have acquired during their training in a real-world work context; To develop scientifically based technical skills that enable the provision of excellent general and specific care, in accordance with the professional context in which the trainee operates; To foster a culture of good practice required of healthcare professionals, in line with the applicable ethical and professional standards; To identify, develop and evaluate intervention plans that are appropriately integrated within a multidisciplinary team.

The learning of the curricular unit will be developed through practical experience and project elaboration having as main objective the acquisition of the competences.
