The Pedagogy of Sport and Physical Activities aims to provide the students of pedagogical intervention skills in the areas of sport, physical education and exercise and well-being implying the domain of theoretical knowledge and diverse practical, particularly in the following areas: health education and improvement of physical condition; ethical and deontological principles inherent in professional activity; Organization and conducting of training and/or process of teaching and learning; development of communication skills and leadership required to configure best practices in the conduct of individuals and groups in formal practice contexts and leisure; the reflexive behavior, observation and observation systems in the regulation of behavior and training and qualification of teachers and coaches.

The Pedagogy of Sport and Physical Activities (PSPA) aims to provide the students of pedagogical intervention skills in the areas of sport, physical education and exercise and well-being. Reflect PSPA • PSPA definition and field of study • Guiding principles of the pedagogical thinking of the PAS with cultural, social, ethical framework and educational • Change attitudes to change practices in PAS Lead individuals/groups in the context of PAS • The leadership as pedagogical process • Communication and effective Leadership in the context of PAS • Leadership styles: characterization, principles of your application. Teach and train in PAS • The stages of the teaching of PAS: conditioning factors and facilitators. • Teaching strategies of teachers and trainers: the role and quality of observation in the process of education and pedagogical feedback. • Fundamentals of organization and conduct of class/training session.

Objectives
Objectives
1-Develop a perspective of physical and sporting activities (AFD) as an expression of culture, a means of social intervention and education tool in the various contexts of the AFD. 2-Analyze critically the physical and Sporting Activities, with a view to promoting best practices in the various contexts of the AFD. 3-Organize and supervise teaching-learning processes and improvement in different contexts of the practice of the AFD, through teaching and fundamental teaching instruments. 4-Evaluate regularly their practices and value system, an essential condition to your training and personal progress, promoting the reflexive behavior. 5-Fostering in students an attitude of research and pedagogical innovation in the fields of theory and practice of the AFD and in the various contexts in which they develop.

Teaching methodologies
Classes took place in a theoretical-practical and theoretical format being used, in combination, different teaching methodologies and forms of evaluation: content development; critical analysis of texts; pedagogical-didactic situations simulation; realization and presentation of thematic work (individual and group); and conducting training, test sheets and/or frequencies. Continuous assessment (70% attendance requirement) combines: • 2 frequencies (50%) • 3 classroom presentation (10%) • 2 projects with oral and written presentation (20%) • 2 group assignments with oral and written presentation (20%) • The final grade (sum of the three aspects of assessment) must be equal to or greater than 9.5 (see in detail Assessment - Assessment Instruments and Parameters). The exam evaluation includes a written test, an oral test, and the presentation of works.

Os trabalhos deverão ser realizados, no máximo, por 3 alunos e todos os elementos do grupo devem contribuir para a consecução dos mesmos. Os temas dos trabalhos serão:
Trabalho 1 – “O pensamento dos treinadores/professores sobre a função da sua profissão”.
Trabalho 2 – “A intervenção pedagógica do treinador(a) na sessão de treino”.
Os trabalhos devem ser entregues em papel ao docente (salvo indicação em contrário) e apresentados nas aulas teórico-práticas.
ATENÇÃO:
- A nota final (somatório das três vertentes de avaliação, i.e., trabalhos, apresentações e frequências) terá de ser igual ou superior a 9.5 valores.
- A média das duas frequências terá de ser igual ou superior a 9.5 valores.
- Os alunos poderão ter UMA nota entre 7.4 e 9.5 valores desde que o somatório final das 3 vertentes de avaliação seja superior a 9.5 valores.
- Os alunos que obtenham classificações inferiores a 7.5 valores em UMA das três vertentes de avaliação, deverão realizar uma prova suplementar de avaliação, sempre que a média das classificações for igual ou superior a 9.5 valores*.
(*) - sujeito a aprovação no Conselho Pedagógico da Faculdade.
Avaliação por exame:
- Prova teórica escrita
- Prova oral (se prova escrita classificação de 9.5 valores)
- Apresentação e discussão de um trabalho individual (Documento escrito em PDF; apresentação em Power Point)
- Apresentação e discussão de um projeto individual (Documento escrito em PDF; apresentação em Power Point)
O estudante terá de ter pelos menos 9.5 valores em cada parâmetro para poder ser considerado o
cálculo da média final do Exame.
