  • Presentation

    Presentation

Cytology and Histology II studies how body tissues are arranged to constitute organs, in domestic animals. This course studies the organs, their microscopic constitution and the differences between species. The knowledge acquired in this course is essential to understand the physiology of the organism, as well as the pathologies associated with each organ.

    Objectives

In the course of this curricular unit it is intended that the student acquires the following abilities:

    1. Knowing histologically diverse tissues and relating them in order to identify the various organic systems.

    2. Knowing how to recognize the corresponding histological differences to the different animal species.

    3. Relating the ultrastructure of tissues with their functions.

    4. Establishing a morpho-functional relationship of the various structures of organs and systems.
