The curricular unit of Reinforced and Prestressed Concrete Structures completes the training in the analysis and design of reinforced concrete structures, started with the courses Reinforced Concrete and Design of Buildings. This curricular unit will focus on the study of types of structures not covered previously with the necessary in-depth, namely, prestressed concrete structures.

Objectives
To learn more deeply the concepts related to the modeling of concrete behaviour and to the design of concrete structures. To learn different methods and techniques for concrete structural analyses, design and implementation of prestressed concrete structures. Application of the provisions of Eurocode 2 concerning the structural concrete.

Assessment
Assessment
A classificação final é definida com base em avaliação contínua e/ou exame final. A avaliação contínua consiste na realização de dois trabalhos ao longo do semestre, com avaliação final em prova oral. Todas as componentes de avaliação são expressas na escala de 0 a 20 valores.
A classificação final (CF) resulta da seguinte fórmula de cálculo:
CF = 0,50xTrabalho#1 + 0,50xTrabalho#2
ou
CF = 1,0 x Exame
NOTA 1: Todos os estudantes inscritos na unidade curricular são classificados de acordo com este método.
NOTA 2: As classificações de avaliações contínuas obtidas em anos letivos anteriores não são válidas para o presente ano letivo.
NOTA 3: 50% da nota de cada trabalho é aferir através da realização de prova oral.
NOTA 4: Os estudantes que pretendam obter uma classificação final superior a 16 valores devem atingir uma classificação final CF igual ou superior a 16,5 valores e realizar uma prova oral.
