Syllabus
This curricular unit is intended to enable students to realize fashion design prototypes, so the focus will be on digital patternmaking and making prototypes of the collection made by students in the subject of Fashion Design Project I. Thus, the programmatic contents are: 1. Production of the author's collection: a) Selection of materials and trims; b) Interpretation of technical files; c) Development of patterns using digital platforms (relation with Lab. of Virtual Environments for Fashion); d) Toiles development e) Development of final prototypes of garments and accessories. 2. Realization of costs sheets.

Objectives
The learning of this Curricular Unit are: 1. To deepen the knowledge of the construction of prototypes of an author fashion design collection; 2. Provide students with digital modeling tools for parallel design in association with Lab. of Virtual Environments for Fashion; 3. Know and select the necessary technologies for the production of garments and accessories; 4. Be able to use the equipment at the level of manufacturing and finishing products of individual fashion collection; 5. Make a capsule collection previously designed in Fashion Design Project I; 6. Produce techpacks for garments and accessories.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Various important aspects of Fashion Design will be focussed on through visual and exemplary presentations. The work proposed for assessment will be carried out in the classroom and monitored by the teacher, but should include some time for autonomous work. The type of work is essentially practical, involving research, planning, organisation and execution. Student-centred teaching and learning by doing are encouraged, with the teacher facilitating learning.
