Class Qualitative Research Methodologies

With this module it is intended to deepen the theoretical reflection on paradigms in research, emphasizing
the qualitative methodology in order to know the founding reasons of its implementation and the
characteristics that govern its validity and fidelity.

a. Case studies and multi-case studies
C. Validity and Reliability in Qualitative Research
D. Main techniques for data collection and analysis in qualitative research
a. The survey (questionnaire, interview). The participant observation. Documentary analysis

The Doctoral student will receive, at the beginning of the Seminar, a set of texts that
will be the basis of most contents that will be treated throughout the sessions in
addition to indication on broader bibliographic references, that will have to consult
before class to be able to actively participate in the construction of knowledge.
Throughout the sessions the group will be invited to critically analyze some scientific
productions, also previously provided.
