Objectives
Objectives
A clear understanding of the principles and methods that govern the structural solution within the architectural design is the main purpose of this course. It is intended, therefore, to analyse the structural behaviour of the main typical structural systems and elements, giving to the student a set of guiding principles on structural design, as well as simple rules based on graphic statics and simplified methods that will enable a swift and reliable verification of the solutions adopted.
