Objectives
Objectives
The curricular unit aims to provide students with advanced knowledge in research methodologies applied to management and social work, promoting critical analysis and the production of scientific knowledge. It develops skills in formulating research problems, choosing quantitative and qualitative methods, collecting and analysing data and communicating results. Students acquire the skills to apply rigorous methodologies in studies on social impact, sustainability and innovation in social economy organisations. Alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is reflected in training for research that contributes to poverty eradication (SDG 1), quality education (SDG 4), decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), reducing inequalities (SDG 10) and partnerships for the implementation of the goals (SDG 17).

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
An active and participatory methodology will be adopted, using innovative techniques. Theoretical-practical classes will include the discussion of research articles, project-based learning, where students will carry out real research in groups, and flipped learning, which encourages students to prepare in advance for debates and the practical application of concepts. Simulation workshops will allow you to explore research scenarios, while online collaborative learning will facilitate content sharing.
