This CU is part of the 2nd Cycle of Studies - Master's Degree in Physical Education Teaching in Primary and Secondary Education, in the teacher education scientific area and in technological areas. It aims to provide up-to-date knowledge and intervention tools in the specific teaching methods of handball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. It also aims to enable students to use the acquired knowledge in their future professional practice.

Syllabus
PC1 - Social constructivism, complex dynamic systems theory, constraint-based approach, and non-linear pedagogy as theoretical frameworks for understanding the nature of and providing a basis for intervention in team sports (TS); PC2 -TS teaching models and pedagogical principles (complexity, exaggeration, sampling, and representation) as foundations for effective teaching; PC3 - Observing and assessing the game (balance) to intervene through the design of learning situations (constraint manipulation), guided discovery, and questioning; PC4 - Analyze common aspects in teaching JDC, as well as the specificities of Handball, Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball, and structure appropriately adapted intervention forms.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
Different teaching methodologies will be used: demonstration, experimentation, and practical exercises; pedagogical practices in simulated/real situations involving planning, organization, and intervention in the context of teaching/learning; resolution of practical cases; viewing and discussion of documentaries/videos; small group activities to develop observation, design, and intervention skills and concrete problem solving.
