Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) ODS4 ODS8 ODS16

Start February 11, 2026 | 14h30 End February 11, 2026 | 18h30

This conference aims to critically analyse, from multiple disciplinary perspectives, the four decades of Portugal’s integration into the EEC, which also coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Schengen Agreement. We will assess how the country has changed, in what terms, and what can be expected from the future European project with Portugal as an active member.

Several fields of knowledge are brought together, with specialists from different areas, ranging from Law, Political Science, International Relations, History and Economics to the Arts. Students from these fields, as well as other individuals interested in these topics, are welcome to attend.
