Open Class Academic and Career Paths in Social Work
An inspiring discussion on the job market and the essential skills for future social workers
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
The open class aims to promote reflection on the challenges and opportunities of the profession, based on the experiences of former students of Lusófona University who have followed different paths in the field of Social Work. Through their testimonies, it will be possible to learn about the various career possibilities, the challenges faced, and the knowledge gained throughout their journeys.
This meeting aims to be a space for sharing and inspiration for 2nd-year students of the Bachelor's degree in Social Work, encouraging dialogue on the demands of the labour market, the impact of academic training, and the essential skills for professional practice.
The event is co-organised by the lecturers of the CU Internship II and Report: Professor Nélson Ramalho and Professor Ana Paula Garcia.
