Seminary Audiovisual Archives: Preserving, Researching, Reusing and Disseminating
A space for reflection on audiovisual memory and the challenges of its preservation

Archiving audiovisual materials - from film archives and contemporary art centres, through local archives and museums to family archives, audiovisual documents accumulate under the care of a wide range of actors, whether institutional or individual.
In addition to reflecting on the importance of preserving and researching audiovisual archives, this event also aims to discuss and present proposals for the reuse and dissemination of audiovisual documentation held in these archives.
Hence the invitation extended to those responsible for the archives of film archives and television broadcasters, as well as filmmakers and journalists who draw on these and other audiovisual archives as the basis for their work.
This seminar will also mark the launch of the new exploratory project RULFF - Restoring urban landscapes with family films: using citizen archives to prototype sustainable smart cities, supported by WIRE by FilmEU.
