CRITHINKNET – the Portuguese Network for Critical Thinking – is holding conferences on ethics and education in the age of AI
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
This meeting is part of the network’s mission to promote spaces for debate, reflection and knowledge sharing on critical thinking, in a global context marked by rapid technological evolution and the growing presence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in multiple dimensions of everyday life.
The Critical Thinking Conference is aimed at the academic community, researchers, teachers, students, professionals and policymakers, bringing together participants from different disciplinary fields and cultural contexts.
The goal is to foster an open and intercultural space for dialogue that enables the discussion of emerging trends, the confrontation of perspectives and the co-construction of ethical responses for human coexistence in the age of AI. In this way, it seeks to strengthen practices of critical dialogue capable of resisting polarization, informational noise and the oversimplifications that characterize contemporary digital ecosystems.
By bringing together experts, this meeting aims to stimulate knowledge production, promote ethical reflection on the use of AI and strengthen essential critical skills for decision-making in educational, social and professional contexts.
