Launch Digital Curation - Its Importance and Training
Discover the Vital Role of Digital Curators in Preserving Cultural Heritage
On May 14th, the event "Digital Curation - The Importance and Training of the Digital Curator" will take place, with the aim of promoting the sharing of experiences on the digitalization of Cultural Heritage and the emerging profile of the Digital Curator. The DCBox project aims to train a new generation of European cultural heritage professionals with high-level digital skills.
Academics, researchers, students, museum and cultural technology professionals, as well as experts in digitalization and virtual reality, are invited to explore the opportunities of digitalization in enhancing culture. The event will feature experts to analyze different perspectives on the relationship between technology and cultural heritage.
Students will have the opportunity to present prototype projects developed during the DCBox project, funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus Plus program "Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education". This event marks the end of the project coordinated by the Università Politecnica delle Marche, with the participation of several European institutions.
We invite everyone to participate in this event to explore valuable approaches and opportunities in European Cultural Heritage themes!
