Workshop Empowering Research on TikTok
ULusófona promotes a workshop on TikTok research, exploring data, digital safety, and practical applications
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
This workshop is an initiative of the CECAM Project – Centre of Excellence for Pedagogical Innovation in Cinema and Media Arts and FilmEU, and will feature guests from TikTok.
Its aim is to better understand the platform’s approach to safety and explore the possibilities offered by its Research Tools.
These tools provide access to public data on content and accounts, enabling a wide range of applications: from trend and marketing analysis to literacy and trust studies. Experts will explain the data access process and demonstrate the main functionalities.
The workshop offers:
- Practical insights into the tools’ capabilities;
- Real-world cases and applications;
- Step-by-step guidance to get started;
- Interactive Q&A session.
The workshop also provides an opportunity to learn about the speakers’ journeys, from academic research to working in technology and industry.
For privacy reasons related to the studies presented, photography and recording are not permitted, either in person or remotely.
