We are living in a context where entrepreneurship, digital transformation, artificial intelligence and sustainability are redefining value creation within organisations, markets and territories. In this scenario, the Curricular Conference on Economics, Management and Tourism provides a space for reflection on the future of business and the role of sustainable business plans in building resilient, innovative and responsible organisations.

Beyond technical skills, the development of successful projects requires strategic vision, critical thinking, ethical awareness and the ability to design solutions that are economically viable, socially relevant and environmentally sustainable.

Entrepreneurship plays a central role in this transformation by responding to the challenges of technological disruption, climate change and globalisation through creative, purpose-driven initiatives. Sustainable business plans have become essential tools to turn ideas into structured projects with long-term impact.

In Tourism, these challenges are particularly evident in a sector that must balance competitiveness with sustainability, innovation with authenticity, and growth with community well-being. Smart destinations, digitalisation and experience-driven models are reshaping the sector and opening new opportunities for responsible entrepreneurship.

Economics and Management complement this framework by providing tools to understand markets, support decision-making and anticipate trends in an increasingly AI- and data-driven environment, which also raises important ethical and governance issues.

The conference promotes an interdisciplinary approach, connecting research and practice, and encouraging the development of innovative, inclusive and sustainable projects capable of generating long-term value and positive societal impact.
