Presentation of the book "Europe and Latin America – The Necessary Convergence", in an open class at Lusófona University - Lisbon University Centre, with its students from the Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and International Relations. The title of the publication by the José Bonifácio Chair at the USP – University of São Paulo, coordinated by Álvaro Vasconcelos, its thirteenth holder, recently launched, encapsulates the proposal advocated by the study he led at USP during the year 2024.

One is the agenda of convergence: beyond global fractures, with the articles: "Europe-Latin America Relations in a Post-Hegemonic World" and "Europe and Latin America: Common Humanity and Terrestrial Patriotism". The other part is entitled "Expanding the Convergence Agenda", containing articles on the themes of democracy, human rights and culture, climate change, war, and security.
