Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
The “Threads of Change” Hackathon transforms ULusófona into a simulated business environment, where teams act as consultants for Aurora Threads.
Participants take on the role of strategic consultants and rotate through four workstations: logistics, production, communication/social action, and strategic management.
In parallel, in partnership with the fashion course, each team develops a concept or piece, whose outcome depends on the decisions made at each station. The event culminates in a final presentation (pitch) in an auditorium, where each team presents the integrated solution, the concept for the piece/collection, and a strategy to improve the company.
To carry out the event, the following will be required: several classrooms, a fully equipped fashion room, support materials (technology and drawing materials), extended university hours until midnight, dinner or catering for participants, and an auditorium for the final stage.
