The second edition of the India–Portugal Science and Technology Conference will take place on March 26, 2026, at Universidade Lusófona, in Lisbon. This initiative follows the success of the first edition in 2025, the year marking the 50th anniversary of the restoration of diplomatic relations between India and Portugal, consolidating a scientific bond between the two countries.
Scientific and technological research carried out in Portugal highlights the experience, dedication, and innovative spirit of researchers from both countries across multiple academic and industrial institutions.
The conference provides a platform to present and analyze the current state of scientific and technological collaboration between India and Portugal. It includes keynote talks, oral presentations, poster sessions, and interactive moments that allow exploration of shared achievements and the potential for future cooperation.
The results and conclusions of this conference will serve as a roadmap to strengthen cooperation in research and technological innovation between the two countries. The initiative aims to foster joint scientific projects, promote knowledge exchange, and stimulate cross-border collaborations that contribute to the scientific and technological development of India and Portugal.
