Seminary Juvenile Justice: New Trends?
The seminar will discuss the use of the internet as a catalyst for offensive behaviours and the political and religious radicalisation of young people

Lusófona University, through the Faculty of Law and the Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, together with the Directorate-General for Reintegration and Prison Services (DGRSP), has maintained a collaborative partnership since 2018, which includes an annual seminar that, from 2019 onwards, has focused on juvenile justice.
The 2026 edition, entitled Juvenile Justice: New Trends?, will examine the phenomenon of the internet as a mediator of offensive behaviours, the political and religious radicalisation of young people, and, rather than seeking immediate solutions, aims to establish reference points and starting frameworks for the study and reflection on a topic that contemporary societies face and seek to address.
