Workshop OffScreen: Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication Festival
Students organise an event that bridges theory and practice in the multimedia field.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
The first edition of OffScreen will take place at Lusófona University - Porto University Centre on 8 April, from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. This is an Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication event organised by students from the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication, from the 1st and 3rd years, under the coordination of Professor Vanessa Ribeiro Rodrigues.
The format consists of conversations with professionals from the field and short workshops, where theory gives way to practice and real contact with industry professionals.
The event is open to the public and takes place in two blocks throughout the day.

TAKE 1 | Morning

Meeting in the Main Hall with an opening conversation with guests
10:00 am
Start of workshops (free but mandatory prior registration):
António Morais — Director of Photography, member of AIP (Portuguese Image Association) and Sony European Imaging Ambassador. (Workshop in the university studio)
Ricardo Teixeira — Director and editor. Developed projects for television, advertising and music videos. (Room -1.7)
Liliana Mendes — Photographer and founder of the Raio Verde studio. Works with design and ethnographic photography. (Room -1.6)

DJ.GATO.X — DJ, sound technician and audiovisual show producer. (Main Hall)
Vanessa Souza — Photographer whose practice is based on the authenticity of vision. For her, photography captures what is not staged — transforming the ordinary moment into a living and lasting memory. (Room -1.7)
Sara N. Santos — Film editor and lecturer at ESMAD. (Room 0.7)
