The masterclass is primarily aimed at students of the Management and Commercial Management degree programs, aiming to provide enriching learning that goes beyond the classroom.
This session seeks to complement curricular content with practical and up-to-date management perspectives, fostering the connection between academic knowledge and organizational reality. It also aims to stimulate critical thinking, adaptability, and innovation as essential factors for competitiveness and professional development.
The session will feature Nuno Vasconcelos, Senior Director and Head of Public Sector Consulting at the Kaizen Institute ®, who will share his experience leading transformation and continuous improvement projects in the public sector. With a career focused on operational excellence, value creation, and organizational modernization, the guest will provide practical insights on applying Kaizen principles in complex and demanding contexts. His talk will address the role of leadership in promoting continuous improvement cultures, as well as the importance of aligning processes, outcomes, and people development.
The session will provide students with an integrated view of organizational efficiency, exploring the balance between system optimization and valuing the human factor, while reflecting on the challenges and opportunities associated with building more agile, sustainable, and people-centered organizations.
