Conference Cycle Sound Week 2025
A series of conferences and immersive experiences dedicated to exploring sound as an artistic, social, and political matter
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
The Sound Week returns to Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa with an expanded programme that offers a multidisciplinary perspective on sound in its many dimensions: political, aesthetic, technological, and cultural.
From 12 to 16 May 2025, this series of conferences and immersive presentations invites the academic community and the general public to reflect on contemporary soundscapes, exploring practices of active listening, sound creation, and critical research in the field of audio.
Organised by the School of Communication, Architecture, Arts, and Information Technologies (ECATI), the initiative includes masterclasses, workshops, sound walks, 3D concerts, and thematic sessions with invited researchers and artists, promoting dialogue between areas such as musical composition, audiovisual production, performance, and technological mediation.
