Objectives
Objectives
Demonstrate the importance of Geography and Cartography in the context of Civil Protection, providing knowledge about the fundamental aspects of cartography from the perspective of the producer and the user, as described in the programmatic contents. Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
Teaching methods are grounded in an active and integrated model, combining concise lectures with autonomous study and guided research. The taught component employs Case-Based Learning, bridging theory with practical exercises applied to concrete cases. Students' active participation is encouraged through Problem-Based Learning (PBL), fostering critical discussion of real-world problems and complementary research. The practical component is driven by Project-Based Learning (PjBL), centered around a practical assignment that promotes autonomy and self-directed learning. The methodology includes formal moments for oral presentation and defense of the projects, aiming to consolidate communication skills, synthesis capability, and personal responsibility. The entire learning process is supported by tutoring sessions that guide autonomous work and track student progress.
