Presentation
Chemistry is a science that studies the nature of matter, its properties and transformations. It is present in our daily lives, in all materials around us, and in all living beings. It is intended to give students a solid and integrated education in general chemistry and its applications such as the role and use of chemistry in various industries, namely materials and biomaterials, nanotechnology. Technologies applied to environmental processes in the development of new techniques via green processes for the development of new sustainable products.

Objectives
Objectives
Developing observation, reasoning and logic in solving problems and drawing conclusions Theoretical-practical classes alternating with laboratory classes aim to prepare the student to work in terms of behaviour, taking into account safety rules, material handling, observation skills, reasoning and drawing up a scientific report. Acquire a global perspective of the study of chemistry and its interaction with other sciences. Acquire technical, scientific and practical knowledge to apply in specific areas such as biomaterials, corrosion and energy.
-
Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
Implementation of additional online support sessions to provide students with extra assistance, including supplementary homework exercises to reinforce learning and promote a better understanding of the course material.

Assessment
Assessment
