Teaching financial calculus techniques to prepare the students with skills to execute financial calculus exercises, namely: - Know and understand the basic concepts regarding financial calculus - Gain know-how on discounting and capitalization calculations - Learn to calculate an annuity - Learn to calculate loans¿ reimbursements - Learn to analyse the companies¿ financing options - Know to prepare spreadsheets to compute financial calculus exercises

Teaching methodologies
The contents were carefully selected to enable a continuous and gradual learning of the knowledge to be acquired in this curricular unit. The definition of the curriculum was made after an analysis of the remaining curricular units, to promote an integrated learning of concepts inherent to this course. During the semester we will use digital tools with practical applications for the study of the curriculum unit.
