LO4: Explain and apply the fundamental concepts of derivatives markets. LO5: Assess the impact of financial instruments on risk management.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
The teaching methodologies adopted in this curricular unit combine expository strategies with participatory approaches and digital tools to promote active, contextualised, and critical learning. Financial market simulations, analysis of real-world economic news, and practical case-solving exercises are employed.
