The internship is part of the Bachelor's Degree in Nutritional Sciences of the School of Health Sciences and Technology (ECTS), Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias (Lusófona University), taking place in the 4th year of curricular training, according to the directive. The functioning of the curricular internship must be governed by the Internship Regulations for the Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition Sciences, approved by the ECTS Scientific Council, in its most current version.

Syllabus
The internship must strictly comply with the guidelines and rules applicable to each professional context, as established at each internship location, and must be organised based on the general and specific objectives of each area of activity, ensuring a coherent, safe and practice-oriented training experience.

Objectives
Objectives
The main objective of the Internship Course Unit is to provide trainees with an integrated view of the professional practice of Nutritionists in a real work context. The internship can be carried out in different areas: Clinical Nutrition, Collective Food and Catering, Community Nutrition and Public Health, and across the board in Research. It is expected that, after completing the internship course unit, students will be prepared for professional practice, having acquired the tools and experience necessary to perform competently and confidently in their future careers.
