    The Project Management course seeks to mimic the events of the photographic professional practice by conducting a sequence of practical case studies which obliges them to carry out a series of essential tasks for the development of photographic work in a professional environment. Throughout the semester, students will be confronted with the necessary steps to carry out the work, budgeting, organization of tasks, setting the price, contact with the customer.

    1. The photography budget - the main requirements to be taken into account when preparing a budget: costs, equipment, taxes, profit. The corporate photographer vs. the individual photographer. 2. Phases of photographic work: pre-production, production, and post-production. 3. Areas of photographic practice: different approaches and different prices. 4. Agencies and image banks. II 1. Conceptualization and development of a company - an interdisciplinary project. 1.1.- Project schedule, budget, pre-production, production, and post-production. III 1. Development of a business proposal and presentation to a group of experts.

    Objectives

    Ability to organize the different productive phases of photographic work, assigning a price to each one of them and adjusting that price to the idea of profit. Ability to carry out a photographic job in all its phases, making budgets, subcontracting (when necessary), renting equipment or delegating other functions. Argumentative ability to confront a client with the best solutions for a given photographic task.

    In addition to the online platforms available (moodle, netpa) this UC seeks to integrate its syllabus contents and effective practices into a set of actions that promote knowledge of professionals and their market practices.
