The exercise physiology is a multi-disciplinary knowledge area, with requirement in the field of Anatomy and biochemistry, prior to an integrated understanding of health-related physical activity, development and performance athletic.
The exercise physiology studies the structural and functional changes of the human body when exposed to the exercise. Studies the processes of adaptation related to physical exercise on motor tasks providing foundations for the intervention of professional of physical education, Sports Training and exercise and well-being.

Objectives
Objectives
The discipline of Physiology of exercise aims at the study of structural and functional changes of the human body when exposed to the exercise. Study of the processes of adaptation related to physical exercise on motor tasks.
Based on the concept of adaptation, you want to develop in the student a knowledge integrated human physiology on condition of physical exercise through a systemic perspective that addresses different levels of complexity (molecule, cell, tissue, organ , apparatus, system, system, task and involvement).
Upon completion of the course students should master the following points:
1. Understand the exercise as an important organic aggression;
2. Understand, identify, interpret and assess the structural and functional changes of the human body when exposed to the exercise, in all its variants;
3. Understand, identify and interpret the processes of adaptation related to physical exercise on motor tasks.
4. Relate specific bibliography with programatic content

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The exercise physiology is a very large CU where theoretical knowledge is essential. The topics covered in class just theoretical are perfectly assimilated with the add-on of the theoretical lessons ¿ practice (TP), through the exercises performed and the work requested, allowing integration of knowledge and the acquisition of a vision synthetic and operative terms. The application of the theoretical knowledge acquired in exercises requested the guidance of lecturer at your achievement and exposure of same allows to develop in the student a knowledge integrated human physiology on condition of physical exercise.
The placement of minimum values for each of the moments of evaluation is consistent with the monitoring and knowledge which is considered to the achievement of the objectives of CU. The spaces of discussion (in addition to those created in context of school: b-learning) provide a continuity of monitoring and link to the syllabus for a consistent learning.
