Objectives
Objectives
The aim of this course is to provide students with a transversal perspective of the literature produced in Portugal between the 19th and 21st centuries, applying the different themes brought up during the lectures to the reading of a carefully selected corpus, defined by the teacher at the beginning of the semester. In pedagogical terms, the syllabus is designed to offer practical tools for analysing and interpreting the works of authors from the different aesthetic schools that were defined over this long period. It seeks to enable students to read and produce critical texts that will be useful to them throughout their university and professional career.
