The specific objectives are: To identify, describe, and distinguish the main existential and humanistic models, as well as the main social constructivist and postmodern models, considering their key constructs and most relevant theoretical and therapeutic assumptions; To discuss the applications of these models in contemporary psychology and psychotherapy practice; To reflect on personal motivations and characteristics that, within these models, may support the early development of students’ professional identity as future psychologists or (psycho)therapists.
