Presentation
Veterinary medicine is a fundamental discipline in veterinary medicine, essential for understanding the pathophysiology of infectious diseases in different species of livestock. Veterinarians must know and recognize the various infectious and contagious diseases affecting livestock species, namely ruminants, rabbits, poultry, swine, and equines, and their zoonotic, economic, and sanitary implications at the national, community, and international levels.

Objectives
Objectives
1. Acquisition of knowledge regarding the most relevant infectious-contagious pathologies of livestock species, including: epidemiological data, eti-pathogenesis, symptoms, lesional profile, diagnostic methodologies, prophylactic and therapeutic measures; 2. Understanding the interrelationships between host, infectious agent and environment from initial contact until final resolution of disease. Promotion of distinction between individual and population medicine; 3. Learning correct techniques for collecting, handling, transporting and processing infectious samples; 4. Understanding laboratory techniques used in diagnosis of infectious diseases and interpretation of results; 5. Development of an action plan facing an outbreak from clinical suspicion until laboratory confirmation, and subsequent control and eradication.

Teaching methodologies
Encourage supervised use of Phelix for material consolidation after classes Critical classroom comparison: "What the AI ¿¿answered vs. current scientific evidence" Digital literacy exercise: evaluating limitations and potential errors of AI in supporting learning Classes on infectious diseases in each animal area are taught by a professional with decades of experience in the species in question Practical assessment stems from practical interpretation and clinical thinking in case studies Practical assessment includes the construction of a concept map to build logical thinking about a disease of the student's choice
