The Exotic Animal Management and Feeding Course aims to be an introduction to two of the most important elements for the health of exotic animals, facilities and diet. This course aims to contribute to a greater knowledge of the biology and ecology of the main species of birds, reptiles and small exotic mammals, which are currently kept in captivity as pets, making these the basis for the correct design of facilities and diets in these species

Objectives
Objectives
1-Know the biology and ecology of the most common species of birds, reptiles and small mammals as pets and their importance in the preparation of housing and diets 2-Understand which are the main elements to take into account in the construction of housing for birds, reptiles and small exotic mammals, always considering animal welfare and environmental enrichment 3-Develop the most recommended diets for the correct nutrition of birds, reptiles and small mammals and understand their importance for the health of these animals

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
The teaching of this course will be based on expository content taught in theoretical classes complemented with visits to facilities with exotic animals, from which the discussion of how animals are kept will be discussed. The evaluation will consist of a theoretical component (50%), evaluated in final frequency, and a practical part that will be an individual/group work (50%). In both components, a minimum classification of 9.5 values must be achieved
