Syllabus
Theorical: Spermogram: semen analysis Semen preparation for IVF Laboratory: Students will preform spermograms and semen preparations in animal models. Selection of sperm for ICSI.

Objectives
Objectives
In the end of this Curricular Unit (UC) the student should be able to preform a spermogram as well as prepare semen for all the techniques used in Assisted Reproduction. It should also be able to select spermatozoids for ICSI. In the laboratory students should also acquire the hand skills for spermatozoids manipulation.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
The UC classes will be given by e-learning and/or presencially, when possible, always with support of audiovisula media for better illustrate what is being discussed. There is a laboratory component, as well, in which the student will be able to practice and familiarized with semen analysis and semen prepration for the Assisted Reproduction techniques (it will be used animal models).
