This course addresses the principles and applications of hydrological modelling in the context of integrated water resources management. It explores the fundamentals of hydrological processes in river basins and the key concepts related to surface water and groundwater modelling. Common modelling tools are introduced, together with their applications in scenario analysis, impact assessment and decision support in water management.
