The students of the Integrated Master’s in Architecture at Lusófona University - Porto University Centre begin the 2025/2026 academic year with the exhibition “Mostra de Trabalhos”, referring to 2024/25. An initiative that took place between 20 and 31 October at Casa de Arquitectura, in Matosinhos.
For the second consecutive year, the exhibition brings together the projects developed by the students, celebrating the creativity, technical rigour, and diversity of approaches that characterise the teaching of Architecture at the institution.
Organised by the Department of Architecture of FCAATI, the exhibition was open to the community, professionals in the field, and the academic sphere, and its main focus was to highlight the quality of the work produced by the students and to foster dialogue between generations of architects.
Pedro Ramalho, Director of the Integrated Master’s in Architecture, highlights the value of the initiative — “it is natural for architecture students to engage in this form of communication, which essentially means making their work known to the general public and to their colleagues at our school and even from other schools”.
Moreover, the space at Casa da Arquitectura proved ideal for hosting the exhibition of works — spacious and carefully organised, it was designed to welcome visitors comfortably and allow smooth circulation between the different exhibition areas. The walls and structures were covered with works, ranging from models and technical drawings to conceptual proposals and urban studies.
The atmosphere invites careful observation and reflection, thus creating an environment conducive to dialogue among lecturers, students, and professionals who attended the opening of the exhibition to discover the emerging talent of the new generation of architects.
