Debate on public policy and media literacy at ULusófona
Researchers and public bodies gathered at ULusófona to discuss media education and social impacts

The meeting “Public Policy, Youth and Media Education” took place on 4 December at Lusófona University. The session opened with the screening of YouNDigital videos, followed by two round tables dedicated to media education and public policy.
The first included Alexandre Le Voci Sayad, Carla Barros, Paulo Couraceiro and Sérgio Gomes da Silva, moderated by Paulo Resendes. The second brought together Carla Martins, José Reis, Rui Dinis and Sara Machado, moderated by Ana Sofia Freitas.
During the afternoon, in a private session, Alexandre Le Voci Sayad conducted a session focused on advocacy and social impact. The event aimed to foster reflection, share strategies, and strengthen connections between academia, regulators and European initiatives.
