Lusófona University journals strengthen international presence in SCImago 2025
The new SCImago Journal Rank results highlight the evolution and international relevance of the university’s scientific journals

The results of the latest SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) assessment once again highlight two scientific journals from Lusófona University in the field of media arts. The International Journal of Film and Media Arts (IJFMA) remains positioned in Q2 in the field of Visual Arts, confirming the consistency of the path it has been developing in recent years. The new indicators also reveal an increase in the journal’s impact and number of citations.
Meanwhile, the International Journal on Stereo and Immersive Media (IJSIM) moves into Q3 in Visual Arts, marking a significant development for the journal dedicated to immersive media and emerging technologies applied to the arts.
These results reinforce the international presence of research produced and edited at Lusófona University, reflecting the continuous work of the editorial teams, researchers, and authors who regularly collaborate with both publications.
