
Sam The Kid Talks About His Career, Hip-Hop, and Music Creation
The Portuguese rapper shared experiences, answered questions, and recalled memorable moments

On 17 March, Lusófona University welcomed Sam The Kid for a talk as part of the "Skynet | Great Artists on Campus" series. The Portuguese rapper and producer spoke about his journey in music, from his first steps in the 1990s to his most recent projects.
The event brought together students, lecturers and fans from different generations, all interested in learning more about the artist’s career. Samuel Mira, better known as Sam The Kid, discussed the evolution of Portuguese hip-hop and the creative process behind his songs, also answering questions from the audience.
One of the most memorable moments of the session was when he shared some of his most iconic beats and recalled verses that defined his career. The event ended with applause and a final interaction between the artist and the fans present.
"Skynet | Great Artists on Campus" continues to stand out as an initiative that brings the public closer to important figures from the musical culture scene, fostering dialogue and the sharing of experiences.
