The second edition of the India-Portugal Conference on Science and Technology, an initiative dedicated to fostering academic, scientific, and technological collaboration between the two countries, took place on 26 March at Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário Lisboa.

With the support of the Embassy of India and the Lisbon City Council, the event highlighted the contribution of Indian researchers to the development of science and technology in Portugal. Throughout the conference, emphasis was placed on the importance of cooperation between academic institutions, research centres, and industrial sector partners, as well as on new collaborative ventures in the field of research.

The initiative brought together several partner institutions and also featured an address by His Excellency the Ambassador of India, Puneet R. Kundal, at the opening session. The programme further included lectures, poster sessions, and flash presentations, providing a space for knowledge sharing and reflection on the current state of scientific and technological collaboration between India and Portugal.
