The Prevalence of Coronavirus and the World Level

Professor Ricardo Faustino, professor of the Degree in Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of Universidade Lusófona, publishes a study on the Coronavirus in the renowned international scientific journal One Health. The article entitled, "Systematic review and meta-analysis of the prevalence of coronavirus: One health approach for a global strategy", highlights the prevalence of different strains of coronavirus in the world and the importance of an integrated approach between human medicine, veterinary medicine and ecology, which is the basis of the One Health concept. It should be noted that the study also had the participation of co-authors, professors from our university and IPLSO.
