ULusófona explores advancements of the Salesforce Low-Code platform

On 18 November, an important open session on the Salesforce Low-Code Platform was held at Lusófona University - Lisbon University Centre. The event featured renowned specialists in the field, including Marcel Palou - Account Executive for Platform and Security at Salesforce; and Nacho Vindel - Regional Vice President for Platform and Security at Salesforce, who discussed the revolution in software development enabled by this innovative platform.
During the session, it was highlighted that while the concept of Low-Code application development is not new, the Salesforce platform introduces a series of significant advancements, including predictive, generative, and autonomous functionalities through the integration of artificial intelligence agents. These features have the power to transform how companies create and manage their technological solutions.
Moreover, the event provided a deep reflection on the impact of these technologies on the IT sector and businesses. One of the central messages was that "Software and business are fundamentally changing, and the pressure to act quickly has never been greater." This statement emphasised the urgent need for innovation and agility in the development of business solutions.
