26.05.23 - 15h24According to the Portuguese Laboratory of Healthy Work Environments:
The “Healthy Work Environment must be understood in an integral and systemic way. It presupposes that the well-being and health of workers and the organization are at the center of culture, policies and strategies, involving all actors and in articulation with society”. With this declaration in mind, the 1st International Conference on Healthy Work and Learning Environments was held at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário de Lisboa, on May 16th.
The event program included a debate, where recommendations from the Portuguese Laboratory for Healthy Work Environments were discussed, as well as lectures and panels where those present could think about the burden of unhealthy lifestyles on health and on employee work productivity, as well as policies to promote health at work.
