This recruitment for hiring a Full Professor in the field of Health Sciences, specializing in Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Therapeutics, is open from May 26, 2025, to July 8, 2025, under the provisions of paragraph i) of no. 1 of article 30 of Law no. 62/2007, of September 10, and paragraph i) of no. 5 of article 7 of the Statutes of the Lusófona University.

Activities
The hired teacher will develop, observing the applicable legislation and regulations, namely, the following activities:Teach at the Campuses and, if necessary, online, in the areas of Medicinal Chemistry;Participate in academic activities at the ECTS level;Participate in professional activities and community outreach;Provide academic and career advising to students;Develop advanced and international research at CBIOS in the field of research;Contribute to the promotion of internationalization of ECTS and CBIOS;Lead and cooperate in processes for applying for national and international competitive funding;Collaborate in training activities in scientific research included in the scientific strategy of ECTS and CBIOS;
Requirements
Teachers who have held a doctoral degree for more than five years and hold the rank of Professor in the field of Health Sciences, specializing in Medicinal Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical and Therapeutic Chemistry, may be admitted to this competition.
